Thursday 21st June
8pm at Mikes
Cost - to cover materials only $15/head
It's a 'just come and have fun sort of vibe' - not really any sort of class - but you will leave with your own embroidery hoop.. over which we will stretch your very own lovely piece of calico with your very own chosen design drawn/transferred on.. and some different coloured thread and a needle too! How much you actually complete on the night is up to you! You only need very basic sewing skills to do this! It is simple and gorgeous!
We are still learning all the stitches required... so we'll have lots of lovely embroidery books on hand to refer to.. and our rather short embroidery experience to draw on too! Get in the mood by popping over to sublime stitching!
We will have cup-cakes and champagne and cups of tea! It's a bit of a squeeze in the shop.. but it is FUN!
There are spaces for 12 stitchers- first to book and pay for their materials are in!
You can use paypal to pay - mike@meetmeatmikes.com is our paypal address
Or you can come in and pay...!
Demand is high so get in quick!
We'll have another one the following week if we have enough interest!
You can also... shop at Mikes on the night - with 10% off all stock!
Yippeee!
xx Mikes
wish i could come!

:)
Me too :-( I truly wish you were my little corner shop and I could just duck in whenever I wished. And cupcakes AND champagne, you truly are teasing us far away friends.
ReplyDeleteI wish I wish and am clicking my ruby slippers together ...but als ...not to be.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're going to have a lot of fun! Alas, I'd have to travel pretty far to join in. I live on Long Island, New York. I noted your clock says 11:10 p.m.--that's 14 hours ahead of me. It's almost tomorrow by you!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to come! I've just sent you some money.
ReplyDeleteI don't know much about embroidery, but the lovely creations you've posted are so beautiful they've inspired me to give it a go. I can't wait!
Who else is coming?
xkatex
I'd love to come..but Belgium is too far away. It's a pity people are not that much into crafting here.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe I just don't know the right people!
I visited the shop last weekend and was informed of this great night! count me in!
ReplyDeleteAwww... wish I was in the neighborhood! :)
