300th Post! Day at the Museum!

Yippeee! I am up to 300 posts on blogger! And I didn't forget to mark the occasion! Thanks to all of you who have been reading.. I know you're out there.. I have a special little chart that tells me! I really love writing my blog each day - so thanks for encouraging me with your presence! I love it NEARLY as much as I love reading my long list of blog subscriptions!

To celebrate, Mikes will give one lucky commenter one of Angela's gorgeous sew your own kits - a pack of Mikes vintage fabric scraps and a bundle of 5 1/2ms of vintage fabric too!

I'll leave you with some photos of our lovely Melbourne day - at the Museum! It was ace!

xx Mikes

  1. I love that polar bear!! He (or maybe she) was my pick of the day, when I had my own day out at the musum! (My photo's here.)

I went for the dinosaurs, but the bugs and stuffed animals were so much better, don't you think?

  6. Oh Yay,

    Happy Blog Day

There should be a song for the occasion. If there was i might hum a few bars.

I love the museum. I am partial to the Forest Secrets Gallery & the squids in jars. Oh & the bugs are fun too.

  7. Oh, great to see some lurkers posting comments Pip!! Lovely day at the Museum, did you have the chicken sandwiches?? Nice to see a shot of Max for once!! What is it with broody children. I've had children go through the "I'm not a photo taken girl" phase, annoying & leaves big patches in their life of photos. 300 posts hey, i just passed 3!! Hope you get 3 telegrams from the Queen of Blogs, or is that you?? Love Posie

  21. Good onya Luv!
I recently unearthed my old schoolbag up in the cupboard and it's jam-packed with years of diaries (teen years to mid twenties) and remarked to my husband, who features in the very last one, that I was born to be a blogger. Clearly you were too..did you do the compulsive diary-keeping thing too?

  24. Oh no! I missed your trip to the Museum. Did you make puppets in the Australia Gallery? I'm working this coming weekend, so I don't suppose you'll be visiting again so soon.

What do you think of the Huskies? They're new and I feel compelled to say hello to them every morning (before I come upstairs and ready your blog!). If I ever get around to blogging again the Huskies are high on my list of things to mention. :)

    Congratulations on your 300th blog!
