Last night was Stitching Night at Mikes! It was an ace night.. so warm we had the door open.. and lots of passersby kept peering in! Cupcakes were made by lovely Cass from Little Bertha... and we had plenty of biscuits and lemon cordial and champagne and tea! Brooke and Rin were lovely co-hostesses too!
I made everyone a pear - they were plump and wonky, my favourite kind! And there were lots of lucky dip door prizes! We made sure to draw one for Kirsty again!
Lots of great and varied stitching was done.. nothing completed.. but that's just fine with us! Some gals used the super-cute Sublime Stitching transfers.. and lots of girls brought their own designs to transfer and iron-on, which was great too! Can you see Kirstys' pillowcase fabric above? She decided to stitch around the flowers and it looked gorgeous!

Hi Pip - I had a lovely time last night, even if I was the quiet one... an observer, that's me :) It was nice to put faces to names, and your hospitality was divine, as I knew it would be!
