oops.. I'm running late with my Flashback.. but i don't think Angela will mind! I made my own theme... it was 'Pics involving Tuna and Thumbs-ups'. Hope you like it!
And here's my Thrifted Tuesday contribution too! 20c at Morwell oppy. Lolliplop, Lolliplop, Lolliplop Quick, Flip the Marbles Down the Stick!
Thanks Jess Finesse for the lovely visit yesterday.. and Angela too.. and my long lost cousin that i found on Facebook.. can you tell i did NO WORK yesterday! But it was F.U.N.
Today we're at Brunswick Street staining shelves and painting the rest of the boys room.... to those of you that I owe an email to, sorry! I'm trying to catch up - i've READ them all.. just have to reply... so stay tuned and do forgive me.
What's for dinner? (I am thinking about this already - so we don't end up with Chinese Takeaway after our busy day) I am thinking potato curry and dahl with jasmine rice would be healthy and hearty! What are you having?
xx mikes
Any snaps of what the new store is looking like....? Would love to see them..
ReplyDeleteGreat photo Pip! I must confess I'm relieved we didn't have a 'Tuna and Thumbs-ups' theme, I don't think I've got a photo for that one. However I do have the seaweed dancing pic with my hands up : )
ReplyDeleteGreat Thrift find too! Hmm dinner? I will have to give that some thought. Have fun at Mikes 2 today!
Hey cool lollipop game! When I first saw it I thought it was something slightly different - that the balls inside were little candies and you had to flick them up into the hollow handle to get them out ;) Make them work for it!!
ReplyDeleteAh fantastic! I remember playing with those when my family would visit my great auntie in brunswick!
ReplyDeleteGreat pic, I really missed out on the Aussie culture & freedom growing up..not that Europe is bad..just different :)
ReplyDeleteHmm dinner...not too sure yet..we're going to the movies first so we'll probably be eating something quick & easy.
Goodluck & have fun at Mikes 2, can't wait till it opens.
We've got a lolliplop or two at our place, although 20 cents....what a bargain. Where do you guys find the time to op shop with everything else you've got going on?
ReplyDeleteWould love to know what towns you frequently visit to go op shopping. Where do u find the best finds? Such a great idea!
ReplyDeleteOMG, where do you find such 'finds' each Tuesday?? Oh, the Tuna & Thumbs up theme, that's a tall order. I'm really hoping i can pillage in Canberra next year, as i've said before, all the cool vintage & retro blew away in Cyclone Tracy in 1974 (before my time, yes, often feel like a vintage fraud) so i find nuffin. Must say, there is zero competition in the few vintage children's books i do find. Love Posie
ReplyDeleteThat pic is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAnd speaking of tuna and dinner, we are having spicy tuna pasta for dinner tonight. I will post the recipe on my blog -- it's our fave, and it's easy and healthy.
Great photos and I soooo remember those games, they used to drive our mother mad.
ReplyDeleteIf we got sick of it we would just shake the living daylights out of them.
Maybe that is what annoyed her.
