




These are by Marcel Marlier - from the Gilbert Delahaye penned 'Mary at the Flower Festival'. Its a hard one to get hold of - but Cam rustled it up magically at the Salvos the day before my Birthday early this year. Now that's super oppy luck.

ReplyDeleteSorry I will clarify so as not to confuse people that in the French books they call her 'Martine' and in the English versions she is called 'Mary'. I think that's right anyway.

I remember this book so well from my childhood. I was doing a search on the internet and found your site. Thank you for posting those pictures - what beautiful memories. I will be seaching ebay for it myself. Post the whole book please
