We've spent the last couple of days putting hearts IN the window, and hearts ON the window. The inside hearts are the ones everyone has been making to raise funds for Mirabel. And the hearts ON the outside of the window are for passersby - who might need a bit of extra heart in their life. We made them from GIANT playing cards from the $2 shop, and paper doyleys and things like that. There was a lot of love on the street today!
If you have sent us a Mirabel heart, then go and have a look at the FLICKR group - and be sure to add a note to any photos that show the heart YOU made! We want to know who you are! And a big thankyou to you!
We had a superfun-zine-y time at the Mixtape launch too! We now have issue three instore - or you can buy it over here too! We read it today - and it gets better every issue, if that is possible! Some great articles, especially the one by Allison! Hurrah for Lark! And an awesome page from Shannon too! And Bianca! And Suzie too! And even more great chicks are in it! So buy it!
I've been sewing and sewing and sewing... making samples and having fun with all the projects that will be included in our BOOK - which is due out late this year! It will profile some wonderful, lovely, sweet Australian crafters - with lots of great projects you can try at home!
