These are the latest arrivals for Softies For Mirabel! Looking GOOD! There are heaps more Softies to view over at Flickr. Perhaps YOU would like to make a softie - either for the Auction or for a child in need? All the details can be found here.
The idea is that crafty people like yourself (or someone you know) make a soft toy (or a few!) and donate it to Mikes. We will display these lovely handmade toys in the window of Mikes - at 63 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy, Melbourne.
A selection of the toys will be auctioned via ebay with all funds raised going to The Mirabel Foundation - a wonderful organisation who support families affected by substance abuse.
The remaining selection of toys will be wrapped up with care and gifted to the Mirabel Kids as part of the Mirabel Foundation Christmas Gift Drive. These great kids would love some extra hugs and someone to tell their worries to. (And who better than a soft toy - they make really good friends, huh?!)
We have some lovely softies here already - but we need heaps more to make this a HUGE success! Thank you to Frankie Magazine for featuring Softies for Mirabel in their latest issue! We heart you Frankie!
