One of the humble superstars of Melbourne Craft - Miss Jhoanna Monte Aranez of One Red Robin is currently exhibiting at the wonderful Hudson of Balaclava. You must go and have a peep at her lovely things - there are lots of images on Jhoanna's website.

Miss One Red Robin has also been super busy preparing for another show - SuperPlush - at Ghetto Gloss in California. Also featured in this show are lovely Australian softie co-hort Flying Star Toys - as well as some international softie artisans like My Paper Crane and While She Naps.
Jhoanna is a lovely example of a super-talented person who just quietly gets on with things. Her work is absolutely exemplary, as well as being cute. And do you know what? A lovelier person you could not meet. Generous, community minded, nice teeth, gorgeous children and smart hubbie too! I think Jhoanna is a shining light in the Australian craft scene. We could all learn lots of lessons from her - in terms of stitching and kindness too! And I think you should go and see her show. She's been working super-hard - and those softies are going to disappear quicker than Freddo Frogs at a birthday party!
Hurry to Hudson!
