Thanks to everyone who joined last week's Words and Pictures theme. It's been so great to gain a bit of insight into everyone's lives - and to read something slightly off-topic on contributor's blogs. Some people can write so much in so few words... and some people write so much I never want to stop reading. I'm enjoying it the very most of any meme we've ever run on Mike's. I love it that people are digging deep into their memories for special moments. Like babies snuggled cosily in bed, or nanna's drinking tea from saucers, or lunch order bags with saucy holes in them or batik-wearing Mum's wielding whole-grain sandwiches.
This week's theme is Little Things. Perhaps you might like to post something along with us?!

Things you need to know :Sign up below so we can all click over and read your 'Little Things'. And thanks to our favourite writing hero - Anne Lamott (author of Bird by Bird) for keeping us writing along! I wonder what your favourite stories have been so far via Words and Pictures? Do tell me, if you have the time!
You don't have to write beautifully or perfectly.
You don't have to write a lot.
Also, you don't need to be an amazing photographer.
You can post a drawing or artwork if you like.
Just post something about the theme. Words or pictures. Or both. Just have a go. Simple. Interpret in your own unique way!
Perhaps you might post some distant memories, or a story you made up, or an old photo, a poem, maybe tell us something you once read about the theme, write in rhyme, detail a snatch of overheard conversation, you might recount an anecdote... it could be anything really.
Just some words. Or some pictures. Or both.
Like I said, nothing fancy.
Just do it your way.
Just for fun.
xx Pip

Hi Pip,
ReplyDeleteThanks for running such a great series - very motivating to be participating in something bigger with other people.
Being short-sighted, I think I have an affinity for little things in extreme close up!

ReplyDeleteSo, this is my first adventure in being involved in a meme. Very exciting. This was lucky because my photography class just covered macro photography. We went on a shoot learning to focus on very small, very close objects. It was fun!
