Hello!
Did you know that you can order our book on Fishpond for only $39.97 (the usual RRP $45)? And if you order another book to push the total cost over $50 you get free shipping. The good thing about Fishpond is that they often sell significantly below the recommended retail price. I've plucked some examples from below - but you should go look for yourself! They have a huge range of all sorts of books, music and movies too. Just so that you know.
Alabama Stitch Book - RRP $69.99 :: Fishpond Price $46.42
Jan Eaton's 200 Crochet Blocks - RRP $45.00 :: Fishpond Price $30.63
Jenny Hart's Sublime Stitching - RRP $40.99 :: Fishpond Price $32.48
Kaffe Fassett's Glorious Patchwork - RRP $49.99 :: Fishpond Price $36.98
Heather Ross's Weekend Sewing - RRP $54.99 :: Fishpond Price $39.48
I'm a bookaholic. I admit it. Perhaps you're just like me?! It doesn't feel QUITE so naughty if you're buying at a cut price, now does it?!
xx Pip
Thanks so much for this, i had to leave most of my books when i left Auckland but it`s a great excuse to buy more.
ReplyDeleteHello Pip
ReplyDeleteI saw your book at Book City in Shepparton (where I live) and it led me here to your blog horay! I would love to purchase your book and am trying to work out how I can afford it - looks like fishpond may be the go. Did you notice their claim to be cheaper than Amazon (which is where I've previously bought craft books back when the dollar was good ha)? Anyway love the blog and will add it my bloglines so I don't miss any posts! Ok I'm sure I'll comment again so til then adios.
Kris
Done, I had your book on my wish list and this has given me a great reason to buy it today. Many thanks for letting us know.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pip! I already have your book, but have been eyeing off the Heather Ross book for awhile, and am very tempted at this price. Will see if it is still around on payday! :-)
ReplyDeleteAh yes, I'm addicted to Fishpond. Particularly when you have books lolling around in your wishlist and they send you a 10% off voucher as and incentive. I have to stop buying books- I have no more space in my bookshelves!
ReplyDeleteOh No! They appear to be out of stock already!
ReplyDeleteI will be lurking there until it comes back in. My cart is already overflowing.
I discovered this site recently thnks to your blog and just received my first order this week.No deliver,plus a $10 discount.I don't mind getting books at different times,a thinner package means it fits into the mailbox and I don't need to make a trip to the mail centre to pick it up.
ReplyDeleteAh if you only lived in the US! Here in Baltimore we have a place called The Book Thing. It's basically a book exchange. You can drop off books if you want but you don't have to and you can TAKE as many as you want- and KEEP them NO charge!
ReplyDeleteIt's a really great way to read the books with no late fees/ due dates like a library.
I subscribe by Google feed and I love your posts! Thank you for being so inspirational- I can't wait to get your book!
Hi Pip
ReplyDeleteI bought your book at Borders yesterday (doh) but it's worth every penny.
I have just started a family food blog, which may interest you www.mishdelish.blogspot.com check it out if you get a chance.

I put my hand up, I'm a bookaholic too. I do try to be good and borrow library books I bought three new books the other week though. The shop was having a buy 2 get 1 free offer for their top 100 books so I got three. I didn't need three, but one was free! I just had to get it because you're right, it doesn't feel as bad if you get them for a cut price! :-)
