Doing Stuff...

Hello!

Look! I made this dress yesterday. It took about two hours to cut and sew betwixt cups of tea and spoonfuls of beetroot. The fabric is from Spotlight in South Melbourne. It was about $8 a metre, so not too pricey. I used 3 metres, as the skirt is quite full. It's a nice light, drapey cotton. I used a vintage pattern - with a few Pip-style alterations. I'm going to make some more changes - and I haven't hemmed it yet, but I'm really happy with the result. I'm such a florally frocky girl. I think this suits me perfectly! You like?

More stuff I'm doing later on :: I've been doing quite a lot of stuff, actually!

xx Pip

PS - sorry the photos are a bit dull - the light is low here today... pink sky in the morning and all that!
