:: Royal Melbourne Show...

We went to the Royal Melbourne Show yesterday. It's a tradition for our family to spend the year saving up - and then to have a big day out at the Show! For us it's all about the animals, the showbags, the CWA and sore feet. The boys went on a few rides - but really much preferred the scones, warm Milo and hot tea at the CWA. The food is really very average, apart from that. Next year we will take a fancy picnic and fill up on delicious things - instead of trying to down the less-than-lovely offerings provided.

It was a lovely sunny day - and then, as Melbourne does, it turned quite grey and cool in the afternoon. I love grey skies for nice photos, though, so I was quite pleased. PLUS we were getting a bit sun-burnt - such a surprise as it rains every single year, usually!
