Wow. So this week for My Place & Yours, My Bricole was the Theme Queen. And the theme she chose for us was : Your Secret Weapon. Phew. I thought and thought. Here's what I thought.
I could go on and on, and your eyes would totally glaze over.... So really, I must cut to the the chase. I decided that my secret weapon is WORDS. I like them. My day is full of them. Words are chock full of helpfulness and expression. Words are super charged with information and inspiration. Words are a completely weird symbolly phenomenon that help most of us make sense of our lives (even when things are bit senseless). So. Words. They are my secret weapon. Sometimes I use them quite badly. Other times not. But without them I would be lost (for words).

My family are a kind of secret weapon - they are always there in times of need.
My friends are a kind of secret weapon - they are wonderful, smart, kind lovely people who inspire me every single day.
My heart is a secret weapon - it helps me do the best I can do most of the time
My bath tub is a secret weapon - I think of lots of good ideas while having a good soak.
My bed is a secret weapon - it rests and restores and comforts me daily.
My coffee percolator is a secret weapon - it makes the most delicious coffee and keeps me peppy when I am droopy. I don't even mind that it burns me sometimes.
My collection of lovely clogs is a secret weapon - they make me feel cute and dressed up when I look at them. Even more so when I wear them!
My camera is a secret weapon - helping me see the beauty and colour in my little Mikes world.
