:: A Taste Of My Life : Pink Cloud Cake

Oh I do wish that I could see the whole series of the Nigel Slater hosted 'A Taste Of My Life'.
I do. I love Julia Sawalha. I loved her in Press Gang and I loved her in Ab Fab and I love her in Lark Rise to Candleford. Oh. In fact, I would go so far as to say that I would like to BE her.  She's that lovely, I think.

Today I worked in the shop and had lots of nice visitors.  I crocheted 3 granny squares. I made some bread and slow roasted a leg of lamb.  I think I'll watch Brideshead tonight.  While I crochet. How does that sound?!

What did you do today?  Was it hot?  It's so hot here. The flies are bugging me and the mosquitos are buzzing me.  I ate a whole packet of jelly babies. Minus the ones that Brooke ate, which was not many.

Tomorrow I have some work to do on the book, and a post to finish off for Make and Meaning.  And I'm going to make pappardelle.  Because it's so nice. And easy.  And Ari will love helping.

(Max.  If you are reading this in ten years time: you went to the city to see Coco perform and then you and Ziggy went to the pool with Coco and Zoe.  You got a tiny bit sun-burnt. You also went to Carlton Gardens and spent all your lunch money treating your friends to slurpees.)

(Ari. If you are reading this in ten years time : you went to the working bee at Grandpa's old house and helped Dad out. You had fish and chips for lunch and too much lemonade so that you would not eat your dinner.
