:: Confessions...

Okay.  Let's play a little game of confession?  Here's the thing, last night when I was falling asleep I started watching a BBC Production of  'Pride and Prejudice'.  I like to watch period dramas.  They make me sleepy, all the chamber music and meandering language and empire frocks... Anyhow... for some reason (do not ask me why) I was reminded of Chris de Burgh's 'Lady In Red'.  Which made me laugh.  And not sleepy at all.  He has that effect, you know, the kind of spluttering laugh that can not be contained?  Anyway, I was thinking how much we LOVED Chris de Burgh when we were little.  And then I thought it would be really cute to share the music of our childhood.  The records our parents played, which we sang along to, before we were cool like we are now, when we were about 8 or 9.   (And bearing in mind that they were cool when they played said records!)

So let's go.  Do you want to play too?  Here is the Soundtrack to my Childhood : Confession Style...

1. Chris De Burgh
2. Janis Ian
3. Joan Armatrading
4. Captain Beaky and His Band
5. Silver Convention
6. The Sylvers
7. Fleetwood Mac
8. Kate Bush
9. Neil Diamond
10. Steeleye Span

I would love to know your soundtrack!  Do tell!  Are some of mine, some of yours too?  Remember it is Father's Day on Sunday in Australia!

xx Pip
