EDIT :: Softies For Mirabel is Extended Til End of February 2012
Hello! Well. We're opening up the mailbox for Softies for Mirabel today! You can start sending your toys, and I will photograph as many as I can (you can photograph them before you send them too and upload the images here) and store them for their upcoming exhibition! They then get picked up by the rad people from The Mirabel Foundation and distributed to the kids they support.
You can find out all about Softies for Mirabel here! It is our crafty charity call-out, seeking handmade soft toys to gift to the kids supported by The Mirabel Foundation. The Mirabel Foundation supports children who have been orphaned or are living with extended family due to parental substance abuse. Of course you want to help, don't you?!
If you are not the makey kind, you can donate to Mirabel, or pick up something useful in the Mirabel shop! Or you could tell other people about this great campaign, in case THEY are crafty! School groups, work groups, sports groups are ALL encouraged to band together and get making! And if it's just you, on your ownsome, then that is okay too! Click here for guidelines. Details of the exhibition coming very soon!
Help us to help Mirabel! Go on!
