:: A Year Of Good Things : 19/366 : Captain & The Kings

Jolene sent me a link to this video via twitter. HER video. Partly filmed by Jolene's 7 year old, it features many other branches of her family tree...

Captain and the Kings is formed around the songs and voice of Steven Finnie. Joined by sister Jolene, wife Lindsay, cousin Jamie and uncle Jim the band's background in folk music gives their melodic harmony-driven pop an authentic heritage.

I really love hearing new music. And I love hearing what people who read this blog (or follow me on Twitter or Facebook) are doing.  I think new music is a Good Thing. I think sharing other people's success is a Good Thing too.

What do you think?! Do you love finding new music?  What are you listening to?  What successes are YOU having?

xx Pip

  1. Hi Pip! Last night I went to see the incredible PJ Harvey at the State Theatre in Old Sydney Town! Her recent Mercury Prize winning album, Let England Shake is truly inspiring...
