How amazing is the photography linked to this recipe??!
Oh those photos have amazing light, littlechrissy!! You are right!
ReplyDeleteYum! Love the sound of your menu Pip...by the way I so love your blog (long time reader) you are an inspiring little ray of sunshine to us all! Our menu is as follows: last night - sweet and sour beef & rice, tonight - chicken and sweet potato risotto, Wed - steak dianne, Thurs - sausage pasta bake, Fri - homemade fish & chips. I know it looks like we are cavemen by the amount of meat on this week's list but I am trying to use up what's lurking in the bottom of our freezer before I do another grocery shop (once a month). Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWe're not very good at recipe planning in our house, we're more day-to-day type cookers and eaters. Which is fun and spontaneous but also leads to a little bit of over-reliance on our local thai for last-minute, wahhhhh I can't think of anything to cook and I can't be bothered going to get groceries noodles. EEP!
ReplyDeleteBut TONIGHT WE COOK! Like you Pip, I'm a huge fan of Heidi Swanson and on the menu tonight is her Spiced Tomato Gratin (link - http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/spiced-tomato-gratin-recipe.html) with a lil' bit of Spiced Coconut Spinach on the side! I've been spending a lot of time looking at one of my new fave blogs Unclutterer (http://unclutterer.com/) and one of their top organising-y tips is to map out your dinners for the week, so we'll be making a bit more of an effort in our little house. :)
ENJOY YOUR DELICIOUS DINNERS!
