A Year Of Good Things : 53/366

Today I have had hardly any internet because Telstra is upgrading our service.  It's not ready yet, as the router was rooted. Urk.  I managed to write two posts for JustB and then VAMOOSE! No internet. Bum.

So there you go. It's like having a limb missing, not having the internet, especially for a prolific blogger like moi. Argh.  Let's not dwell on that, though...

Tonight Gemma and I went to see Death Cab For Cutie.  I really liked it. They were pretty low key, admittedly, but I was in a low key mood.  It was very nice to see Ben Gibbard dancing about, especially since that is the closest I will ever get to Zooey Deschanel. If you know what I mean.  I am sad that it didn't work out for them.

Do you know that Ben Gibbard dances like a Muppet wearing socks on a slippery floor? He really does. It's a good thing, though.

I wondered what his house looked like as he muppeted about. My guess is that it's got lots of mid-century furniture, succulents, vintage guitars and crocheted blankets. That is my guess.  And lots of books. Yep.  Do you ever think about Ben Gibbard's house?  Maybe you don't.  It's probably totally weird.  (Ben Gibbard, if you have Google alert and  you are reading this, could you send us some photos of your house? Even tiny corners of it would be ace. Thanks a bunch, muppety!)

Tomorrow I am going to see Rin and Beci too. And I'm going to write some stuff and make some cushion covers and eat some nice healthy food.  What are you going to do?  Are you going to think about Ben Gibbard too?
