I don't text much. Do you? I like to use Facebook instead. Or Twitter even. I am a social media fancier. I thought we could play a little game. Here are the last five text messages I sent. I don't text at all, ever. I had my cell phone company turn off the texting function on my old Razr flip phone because I don't text and don't want people sending me any that I can't reply to (also, they charged me a quarter every time someone sent me one). I'm totally an FB girl. Trying to get more into Twitter, but I mostly follow folks and don't really add my own Tweets. Oh well!

This starts about the fact someone gave him tickets to the footy this weekend (he doesn't like footy) and he wants me to go with him. And then it's is about him ordering parts to fix his car over the long weekend and he forgot it was this weekend. Lol

I don't think I can. Two of my friends and I write essays to each other. May partner always says, "Why don't you just ring them?" to which I reply, "We're not saying anything important." I was texting them both last night so I wrote buckets. I wrote seven major texts to one from 8.51 pm onwards and seven to the other from 4.51 pm onwards. I haven't written any today - yet...

Hehehe! This was a perfect way to amuse myself for a few minutes on a very wet and soggy day here on the Sunshine Coast (it's flooding!)

This post made me giggle, as I read back over my last 5 texts. It was exactly what I needed after a long day/week. I text a lot, I love getting and sending texts but reading those last 5 text out of context was hilarious!

3. Friday evening to Bestie A: "Be there 10 mins x" because I was meeting her and Bestie B and Bestie A's boyfriend for dumplings after work. But we didn't get dumplings because they all had pork but one dumpling and one steamed bun and Bestie A is a vegetarian. So we had Japanese instead.
4. Saturday arvo to friend hosting dinner party: "Great see you then. What can I bring?"
5. Saturday evening to Bestie B because I was meeting her to go to a dinner party: "Prob 20 mins. Just gotta put fayce on." "Fayce" because that is how Kath Day-Night says it on Kath and Kim.
Sorry for the garbled commentary! I don't text that much. Facebook has replaced texting a lot of the time, for sure. Just glad I was well behaved in the last 5 because it could have been a little too revealing to share had we delved a little further back into the archive :O
I'm a big texter! I use full sentences and often multiple paragraphs. I'm fairly sure my friends hate me.
