:: Tickle Me Tuesday : via Yes Teacher

I'm revisiting my bloggy roots and playing about with memes a bit. I like this one from Yes Teacher (found via Slow Noodle)  It's called Tickle Me Tuesday and it's all about things that we like (on a Tuesday!)  Here are mine. Maybe you would like to do something new on your blog too!?

I saw this at the bookshop the other day. It is so beautiful!

and some extras

This piece about the amazing Laura Berger

Will you play too?!

  5. Can I just say, the Meat Free Monday Cookbook has changed how we eat in our house! AND as an added bonus - it's divvied up into seasons, so you know you're doing the right thing by your body, by animals and also by the farmers and the natural availability of fresh produce! Pip, my love, if you don't buy it I will happily buy it and post it down to you. Best $ you'll ever spend :) x x x

  6. Hi Love post with Laura Berger's Unicorn.
It's given me a boost and my small girl will love it. Only two days ago she went to play at a neighbour's and the little girl had suggested she CUT OFF the horn from her unicorn hobby horse as she didn't have one on her's and they would be the same for their show they were playing. The girl is 9 and my daughter is 6 and was quite upset. My daughter is quite mature but still we make fairy houses and do happy stuff.
Where does the magic and joy go from some children ?
This child and another both say some horrible things to my daughter.
Thank you for your post on growing up and the apricot pie. It made me cry. I couldn't think then of my growing up as I put it too far away from myself.
I think people are just jealous and feel threatened somehow by true BEAUTY and GOOD ENERGY in people .
I love your writings Pip and your great courage to be out there.
On cooking my mum taught my girl to make bread. An amazing gift to give her. She loves it and has great confidence from this. Bread is such a versatile food, Jamie uses it for a great surf breakfast bread and chocolate and banana bread-we made last night.
    WE love Jamie too.
Below is my blog address where I some times do with my daughter, about fairies and art stuff and we cook lots together as I home educate. It's hard some times as I have always been single TOTALLY and my mum lives many hours drive away.

There are some picture of fairy clothes I made.
It is still very new though.

  7. What an awesome birthday present to yourself! Mine's on the 22nd of March, so I'm starting to think of what I'd like to give myself this year. Some internet shopping is definitely in order I think! Hope your birthday is a good one! :)

  8. I've got it, i've got it and I LOVE IT. La Tartine Gourmande is the most delightful cookbook and Bea's recipes are sensational. I just got it a couple of weeks ago and i've already tried lots of recipes from the book, they've all been a great success so far! I love her blog too.
The book is on my favourite books shelf, next to Sew La Tea Do which i adore too. Thanks Pip for being so inspirational! Check out my Marlo dress here: http://www.craftedfromscratch.com/?p=172
    Love from the beach
